Call for Art: A Love Letter to Orleans – A Tiny Art Show

  • Orleans Cultural District 19 School Road Orleans, MA, 02653 United States (map)

Artists and community members are invited to participate in A Love Letter to Orleans, a tiny art show featured in the Free Little Art Gallery (F.L.A.G.) located under the Witch Hazel tree at 44 Main Street in Orleans during Arts Week Orleans happening April 18-25.

To participate, create a small artwork inspired by the prompt:

“What makes Orleans feel like home to you?”

Your piece might capture a favorite beach path, a quiet marsh view, a local landmark, a memory, or simply the feeling of being here. All mediums are welcome—painting, collage, photography, drawing, poetry, mixed media, and more.

Artwork must be no larger than 2 × 3 inches so it fits within the gallery. Artwork will not be returned because visitors are encouraged to take a piece of art or leave one to add to the show, creating a rotating community exhibition throughout Arts Week.

Please drop your work off on Saturday 4/11 between 11am and 1pm @ 44 Main St. Orleans. Use the door to the right. The building is to the left of the Orleans Whole Food Store and Sea Howl Books. If this time doesn’t work email us: orleansmaculturaldistrict@gmail.com

Join us in creating a collective love letter to Orleans—one tiny artwork at a time.
