Paintings, Collages and Found Object Art Exhibit by Orleans Artist Joyce Aarons. She described her work of the past 20 or more years as not realistic in style. "I paint from my thoughts, ideas, and memories of my experience. I am partners with my audience and hope my work evokes an emotional response of some kind, whether favorable or not. My paintings are meant to be unique, decorative, and timeless as well as thought-provoking. I try to find continuity between the past, present, and future."
